About FRAME

FRAME London is a family-run business founded in 2014.

It carried directly on from The Royal Academy of Arts Framing where the founders had trained & worked- subsequently buying the core business when it ceased operations.

We specialise in the highest quality museum-standard framing techniques, which means that your artwork will be beautifully preserved for years to come. The frames we make are designed and made sustainably in our east London studio.

Based in the heart of Hackney, our team is made up of highly skilled craftspeople who are artists, or have trained in the museum and heritage sector, including the British Museum, Royal Academy, V&A and Tate Galleries.

We’re proud to be partnered with V&A, ICA London, Whitechapel Gallery, South London Gallery and work with London's top galleries and Museums

Inspiration comes in lots of different ways at FRAME - and we have grown our business through imagination, collaboration and the continued support from our local community of artists, galleries and friends.

About The Founders

Emily Taylor (Co-Director) worked for many years as a Collections Manager at the British Museum. Born in Melbourne, Emily moved to the UK to follow her interest in art and cultural studies. Emily has an MA in Museum studies from UCL and along with her years of institutional experience brings a level of expertise unique to the conservation framing industry.

Harry Burden (Co-Director) is both a practising artist and Director of FRAME London. Born in Melbourne, Harry also moved to the UK to follow his interest in art.
