At Frame London, we are committed to ongoing innovation and responsible growth—minimising our environmental impact and helping build a more sustainable future.
We recognise that the world is constantly evolving, and so are our practices. As part of our dedication to continuous improvement, we actively seek out sustainable materials, partner with ethical suppliers, and invest in education and knowledge to further our understanding of environmental responsibility. In doing so, we not only aim to reduce our own footprint, but also to empower our customers and partners to achieve their own sustainability goals.
Our Commitments:
Long-lasting Products for Longevity
Quality is at the heart of our work. The frames we craft are designed to stand the test of time, meaning fewer replacements and less waste. We use durable, sustainable materials that are not only beautiful but also built to last, helping to reduce the need for future resource consumption.
Responsible Sourcing & Materials
We prioritise the use of products that are recycled, recyclable, or responsibly sourced. All our wood suppliers are FSC-certified, ensuring that every piece of timber is sourced sustainably, preserving both natural resources and ecosystems.
Minimal Environmental Impact in Production
We carefully consider the environmental impact of every step in our production process. From using non-toxic, water-based finishes to minimising waste through precision cutting and efficient use of materials, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. Excess wood scraps are repurposed for smaller projects, further reducing our impact on landfills. We also donate unused wood to the local charity: Woodcraft for Wellbeing. Packaging Innovation
We have adapted our packaging approach to ensure that it is not only functional but environmentally responsible.
Green Foam Corners: Made from 100% recycled material and fully recyclable through household collection.
Plastic Wrapping: Manufactured from recycled plastic, it is fully recyclable via household recycling programs.
Packing Tape: Composed of 80% recycled plastic and suitable for household recycling.
Collaboration & Education
We actively collaborate with our partners, galleries, and customers to minimise packaging waste. By reusing, returning, and recycling packaging materials, we help reduce unnecessary environmental strain. Additionally, we are committed to continuously educating ourselves on sustainability practices and advancements, ensuring we remain at the forefront of responsible business practices.
Encouraging Customer Participation
We encourage our customers to return their foam corners to us for reuse, although they are fully recyclable through household recycling as well. Together, we can help close the loop on packaging waste and contribute to a circular economy.
