About FRAME London

FRAME London is a bespoke conservation framing company based in East London specialising in contemporary art. We currently have contracts to supply framing services to The Victoria and Albert Museum, Whitechapel gallery and the Institute of Contemporary Arts. We also regularly supply conservation frames to the British Museum, Royal Academy of Arts, Tate and many commercial galleries and organisations across the UK and abroad. The FRAME London team have all trained and worked in museums and galleries, so are both highly experienced in the practical and conservation requirements of large institutions as well as the particular complexities and fast-paced world of commercial galleries and artists studios.

We pride ourselves on our communication with our clients and have close consultation and liaison with registrars, conservation and technical staff from galleries and museums throughout the completion of a project. Our collective years of experience working on loans and exhibitions for the British Museum, Tate
and Royal Academy of Arts are intrinsic to our process: sometimes creating accurate frames for objects ‘sight unseen’, creating mounting solutions for unusual objects and understanding the conservation, security, and practical requirements of exhibition projects.

Purpose of the Job

We are seeking an experienced fine art framer to join the team for a 3 month period between February and April, within our fitting room in De Beauvoir (N1). We produce high quality bespoke conservation frames for galleries, museums and private clients and are seeking to add to our team of framing technicians to assist in our busy periods.
